Chiang Saen Period ( 1300 - 1900)
Chiang Saen or known as Lanna currently is the Chiang Rai' district which has it own civilizations and traditions. Chiang San has its territory connected with the northern part Sukhothai territory. Its residents had the development of culture and the variety of arts which they were influenced by the Indian cultural arts during Phara dynasty way through Burma. Then, they had developed into their own unique styles, this process became the first Thai local art form. Many cloths had been woven whether used personally and sold to neighboring kingdom, for example, pra-sri-jhun-khoa (ผ้าสีจันทร์ขาว), pra-sri-jhun-dang (ผ้าสีจันทร์แดง), and pra-sri-dok-jum-pa (ผ้าสีดอกจำปา).
